I finally got my computer UP!!!!
I need to post my results of the CDS Championships which were in October. As well as the ABIG USDF Region 7 championships. I had moved to Maryland and flew back to Ride Decadencia which I had qualified at first and second level earlier in the year. I was off her 7 weeks, and quite nervous we’d lost a lot of ground. When I saw her my heart sunk. She had lost quite a bit of muscle and the warm up class proved it. But we pulled it together and we were 5th at first level, 3rd at second level and 4th in region 7 at first level. We were in 3 victory rounds! What a thrill!
She also won Second Level Champion for USDF All breeds awards for half Andalusian and First Level Reserve Champion for USDF All breeds awards for half Andalusian. Those were the end of the year standings. Not bad at all.
Thank you Sharon Oehler for the trust and opportunity to train and compete her for the last 2 years. She came a long way!
Well I moved to Maryland and we all landed safely. A little worse for wear, but were settled in now. I didn’t have computer access until now so that’s why the delay in an update. So much to say. First, the adjustment to the cold. I finally feel like I’ve adjusted but Lolo still isn’t drinking enough water. So all her food is soaked! PITA!
Everybody’s working well. Dafoe is schooling all his PSG moves. He has his 2 tempis and is learning the piaffe. He’s a blast to ride now, although he’s still “Dennis the Mennis”.. Lolo is schooling first level and getting stronger everyday. She should be ready for the spring show season. And Rocky is living the life of Reilly. He goes out every day with his little family, consisting of a girlfriend and a little brother, which he beats up constantly. He’s a very happy horse. Of course he’s fuzzy and has lost all his beautiful GP muscling..breaks my heart, but he really doesn’t care..Ha Ha
We have a beautiful indoor and 9 gorgeous stalls attached. So we’re schooling all winter. It got up to 46 yesterday so the black horses got baths. They weren’t happy, but I am. Clean! I’ll get some pictures up soon, and possibly some video.
